The Open Progress Tour is an independent series of level-based and progressive matchplay and prize money tennis events, which are ideal for any tennis player seeking a little more from their competition. The tour seeks to provide increased playing and earning opportunities for aspiring young tennis players, as well as current and former professional players

Format

The Open Progress Tour events vary in format, between level-based matchplay and progressive open prize-money events. This new and exciting format allows players of all levels to play in the same tournament and start the tournament at the appropriate level. Players are placed in the draw based on their rating, alongside players of a similar level, with higher level players start at a later stage in the same event. This level-based and progressive format increases the likelihood of high-quality competitive matches for all players, whilst also offering players the opportunity to progress and play against higher level opposition.

Players will enter into the draw based on their UTR to ensure a level-based match. As you win, you will continue to move up in your level draw. A defined number of players will move up into the next highest level draw as shown in the image below. Please see individual event pages below for more information.​
