Player Pathway

The Progress Tour China provides the complete player pathway for all ages and stages. Whether you are a beginner, looking for your first event or a seasoned tournament player looking to further your tennis career in China or internationally,  there are opportunities out there for you.

Mini Challenger - Team Tour (Stage I - III)

The Mini Challenger events are for children of all levels of experience aged 6 to 10 years old.  The aim of the events is to introduce young children and fledgling tennis parents to competition in a fun, interactive and informative way, while also instilling values of teamwork and sportsmanship. By offering an element of both individual and team competitive formats, with player awards underpinned with The Progress Tour China values, players (and parents) will start their competitive journey the right way

Junior Warrior Tour (Stage IV&V)

The Junior Tour offers an exciting new circuit for players at the 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age groups, providing increased competitive opportunities to junior players across China. Players will enjoy first class circuit events through the course of the season, with great prizes and circuit points to be collected, culminating in a professionally delivered end of season Masters event for the highest achieving players, with great prizes and learning opportunities on offer. 

Open Progress Tour (Stage V)

The Open Progress Tour are level-based and progressive matchplay and prize-money events open to all players. The staggered entry, multiple day format allows for more players of all levels to play in the same, progressive draw. Players will be grouped into level-draws based according to their starter level, with the higher level players starting at a later stage of the event. Each player is given the opportunity to progress through to the next section of the draw to play against higher ranked players, and ultimately to progress through to the prize money rounds of the event.

The opportunity to learn both on and off the court during competition with workshops and virtual seminars at tour events with former pros, and experts in their fields, giving parents and players guidance on the different avenues available.
